OUR SOLUTIONS

Engineered for Every Challenge

COLOUR MASTERBATCHES

COLOSOL® delivers vibrant colours, high colour strength, superior dispersion, and easy processability for faster line speeds. Brilliantly formulated and thermally stable, COLOSOL® colour systems maintain consistency even on high-speed extrusion lines, ensuring clean, defect-free output across every production run.

Additive Masterbatches

PERSOL® functional additive masterbatches enhance product performance and ensure suitability for demanding end-use applications. PERSOL® keeps your extrusion line stable, prevents polymer degradation, and delivers products that are tougher and longer-lasting. By reducing melt fracture, improving surface quality, and enhancing mechanical strength, PERSOL® ensures your films, pipes, sheets, and profiles run fast and defect-free.

Productivity Enhancement Masterbatches

PROSOL® masterbatches boost processing speed, stabilise melt flow, and deliver cleaner, smoother output across every extrusion application. By reducing melt fracture, preventing die build-up, and optimising rheological behaviour, PROSOL® ensures your extrusion line runs faster, cleaner, and more consistently.

FAQs: Extrusion
  • The right masterbatch should be selected based on base polymer, processing method, processing temperature, product thickness, colour requirement, functional requirement, regulatory need and final application.

  • Carrier compatibility ensures proper melting, mixing and dispersion of pigments or additives in the base polymer. Poor compatibility can cause streaks, weak properties, poor surface finish and processing problems.

  • Masterbatch is used to provide colour, UV protection, slip, antiblock, antioxidant protection, processing aid, antistatic property, filler loading, flame retardancy and other functional properties in films, sheets, pipes, tapes, fibres and profiles.

  • Filter pressure may increase due to poor pigment dispersion, contamination, incompatible carrier resin, degraded polymer, gels, oversized particles or high filler loading.

  • Yes. Slip, antiblock, waxes, fillers, pigment type and incompatible carriers can affect seal strength, hot tack, printability, lamination and packaging performance.

  • Shade, dispersion, filter pressure value, MFI, thermal stability, die build-up, product appearance, mechanical properties, COF, sealability, printability and regulatory compliance should be evaluated.

  • Filtration helps ensure low contamination, fine dispersion and removal of oversized particles. This is very important for thin films, fibres, tapes and high-speed extrusion lines.
