About the role:
Plan, arrange and track inbound and outbound shipments so materials and finished goods move on time, safely and cost-effectively, with complete documentation.
Key responsibilities:
Plan daily despatches; arrange suitable vehicles and optimise loads and routes.
Ensure invoice, e-way bill, LR, CoA and packing list accompany every shipment.
Track shipments to delivery, collect PODs and resolve shortages, damages and claims.
Verify freight bills, evaluate transporters and support export documentation with CHAs and forwarders.
Maintain despatch records in ERP and prepare logistics MIS.
What you need:
Graduate (any discipline); Diploma in Logistics / Supply Chain preferred.
3–5 years in logistics / despatch in a manufacturing company.
Working knowledge of GST e-way bill, despatch documentation and Excel.
Preferred: SAP SD/MM, EXIM and container shipping, chemical / polymer cargo handling.
